Champs: Athlete Sheet, Relays, Reminders
Champs Families!
Champs is almost here!! We look forward to seeing you all at the Pep Rally tomorrow @3-5 in the park, then on Sun @ 7:30 AM in our NEW team location at Independence High School (please see below for more details and attached maps). Please review the general Champs info here, the parent packet here, and the meet sheet here. Please be aware that non-working parents are not allowed on deck after warm ups. During the meet, you will walk them to the clerk of the course, they will head down stairs, then you go cheer from the stands. Please double-check they have all they need before they head down! The coaches will be down there and plenty of working parents to help.
ATHLETE SHEET AND APP
I’ve attached the athlete check in sheet so you can see your swimmer’s events/heats/lanes. The format looks different because at Champs the data is run by a bigger group. The results will be on an app called Meet Mobile instead of SwimTopia.
VOLUNTEERS
I’ve attached the current volunteer list. We really appreciate everyone’s help to make the meet a success. If you need to cancel your meet job for any reason, please contact Christine Hodson @ [email protected] or on 650-799-8093. There are many more volunteers to coordinate, so please be on time and review the information in the Parent Packet about the location and time for your volunteer job’s meetings. On the morning of Champs, you will check in with Deirdre Nagayama and Terri Yamamoto (thanks both!). They will be in location A on the Meetings Map (attached), which is the upper deck in front of the boys locker rooms. All teams will have their check-ins in the same area, so please look for the Greenmeadow table.
GOODIE BAGS
If you have a 12U swimmer, please keep an ear out for our CITs to ring your bell and drop off a goodie bag tomorrow night between about 5-7 PM (we organize and leave after the pep rally). If you have moved since you registered or if your child will be at a different address, please let me know.

PARKING: FREE
The parking lot by the Independence High School pool is by the tennis courts. Avoid parking by the football field as that is a long walk to the pool. Please park in any available stall in the parking area, including the shade area under the solar panels!
