Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Our March Madness Time Trials & Relays is next Sat, March 25th from 9-12. It will roll right into the free membership taco event. So come for some races and silly relays, then stay for the feast! It will be a March Madness theme so kids can wear their favorite jerseys and cheer extra loud. The deadline to sign up is this Sunday (3/19) by 5 PM so the coaches have enough time to put the relay teams together. Please sign up here for events and here for volunteer jobs.

For those of you new to time trials, they are run like real meets, however there are no stroke and turn judges and the kids swim with mixed gender and ages based on ability. It’s a very low key way to introduce kids to racing.

All swimmers are welcome including all 2022 and new 2023 Summer Marlins/Jr. Marlins! If you are not doing Winter Conditioning, please email me to give access to sign up. The kids will have the opportunity to swim individual strokes (as many or as few events as they like), but we are adding on some silly basketball themed relays such as Traveling (pulling on the lane line), pushing a basketball across the pool, and a jersey exchange. The relays will be mixed gender/age so a good way for the whole team to bond. If you have not signed up for a meet before, you can find instructions here and please don’t forget to hit save.
