JUNE 4TH MEET SIGN UPS (DEADLINE WED JUNE 1ST @ 5:00 PM)

Our first home dual meet will be on June 4th against Brookside at Greenmeadow. Please sign up here for your jobs (1 job if 1 swimmer, 2 jobs for 2+ swimmers, exempt if only jr. Marlins). Volunteering at meets is a requirement for being on the swim team. If you have questions about the meet jobs or need to request a special exemption, please contact Christine Hodson ([email protected]).

Please sign your swimmers up here. For our dual meets, swimmers can pick up to 3 strokes of their preference. IM is not offered at this meet. The coaches will determine the relays, but please mark if your swimmers will not be available for relays. The deadline to sign up is Wed. June 1st at 5:00 PM, since this is a dual meet and we have to merge entries, we do not have as much flexibility to add late entries, so please take a moment to sign up now.

WARM UPS START AT 7:50 AM

Everyone will need to arrive earlier for this meet since it is a dual meet and we need to allow more time for set up and we will also have formal warm ups starting at 7:50 AM, so all swimmers will need to arrive by 7:30 AM. A more detailed timeline will be sent out closer to the meet.

DO NOT PARK IN PARKING LOT FOR HOME MEETS

For home meets, our parking lot is for the visiting team only, so please park in the neighborhood. The other teams extend the same courtesy for us, so please demonstrate good sportsmanship for the swimmers and do not park in our parking lot.

TEAM PHOTOS

Our team photos will be happening after the meet on June 4th. All swimmers should get their photo taken for the team photo and for only $20 per family you will get individual, buddy, and the team photo. You can sign up and pay for them here. Please remember your team shirt to wear for the photos. If you don’t have your shirt yet, you can pick it up at the meet.  You are welcome to come to the photos even if you aren't swimming at the meet.

NO PHOTOS FROM BEHIND THE BLOCKS

You are welcome to take photos and videos of your kids, but USA Swimming prohibits photos from behind the blocks, so please respect that rule and photograph from the sides of the pool or shallow end only.

KIDDIE POOL AND DIVING WELL CLOSED DURING MEETS

The kiddie pool and diving well are closed during our meets, please monitor your own swimmers and keep them out of these areas. It can be distruptive to the swimmers in lane 6 and we do not have a lifeguard monitoring these areas.

OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS:

• JUNE 3RD: FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER - PIZZA. We will be hosting our first Friday Night Dinner on June 3rd from 6-8 PM. This is a great opportunity to take a break from cooking to hang out by the pool with your teammates and get psyched up for the meet.
• JUNE 4TH 6:30 -8:30 PM: 12 & UNDER MOVIE NIGHT IN THE CLUBHOUSE: Movie still TBD.
• JUNE 5TH: 8 & UNDER DIVE CLINIC 10-11 AM. If we get enough CITs to sign up, we will have a free dive clinic for our 8 & Under swimmers. You must sign up to participate and please come only to your designated time slot.

• JUNE 5TH 11AM -12 PM: CIT IN WATER TRAINING: The Coaches will teach the CITs how they can help the younger swimmers by joining in their practices and teaching them better technique. CITs sign up here.
• JUNE 6TH: SUMMER SWIM PRACTICE TIMES START. Our practice times will change on Monday, June 6th. You can review the times on our website under the practice tab. If you need a reminder as to which time you picked for your swimmers, login to SwimTopia, go to the dropdown under your name in the upper right corner, click ‘My Account,” then click on each of your swimmers and you’ll see their practice group.
