Eichler Heat Sheet and Weekend Timeline
Marlins,
Hope everyone is feeling excited about our Pep Rally (4-6 PM tonight), our last virtual meet against Eichler (8 AM-12 PM Sat. for ALL) and our Awards Celebration (5-8 PM Sat.)(full timeline below).
The athlete sheet is attached along with the job sign ups. Don’t forget your sharpies to write the heats/lanes on the swimmers’ arms like this.
PEP RALLY TONIGHT (4-6 PM in the park)
This is going to be a spirited event to get our swimmers psyched up for our last meet. We will have activities, cards for the coaches, posters to show our cross-town love for Eichler, the swim-a-rama raffle, pie throwing, and more. Light snacks will be offered, but not a full dinner. It’s a casual event, so join when you can and no need to RSVP.
SECRET GOODIE BAG DELIVERY TONIGHT (6:30 - 8:30 PM park after pep rally)
Your CITs worked hard last night preparing the goodie bags for our 12 and under swimmers. Tonight between about 6:30 - 8:30 PM, the CITs will deliver the bags, so listen for a knock or doorbell. They usually do this as a doorbell ditch, so you may just spot pink and green flashes running down the street. CITs wear your pink shirts, but bring anything else green that you have, hats, shoes, glasses, capes, anything silly and fun for the deliveries. You should also bring backpacks or bring bikes with baskets so you can carry the bags for delivery. We will have a couple wagons for the walkers. This is open to anyone 13 and older, even if you didn’t help prep the bags. We will also drive over to Eichler and put up our posters to let them know we miss them.
EICHLER MEET TIMELINE: ALL SWIMMERS
- The pool will be available for warm-ups between 7:00 - 7:50 AM for 11+ swimmers. There is no sign up necessary.

- Since both sessions will have swimmers 12 and under and since this is part of our swim team program, masks are required for everyone inside the pool area, regardless of vaccination status, for all swimmers, volunteers, and spectators.
- Our concessions stand will be up and running with donuts, spam musubi, and treats, so come ready to enjoy some food.
AWARDS NIGHT (5-8 PM tomorrow in the park)
The awards night is always bitter sweet since we love getting together to celebrate our whole team, but it also marks the end of the meets for the summer. All swimmers will receive an award. We will serve pizza and cake for the whole family, so bring chairs and blankets to the park. Swimmers should bring their suits for some free swim after the awards.
