Parent Orientation: May 27th @ 7:30 PM

We will be hosting a zoom orientation for Marlins parents next Thurs., May 27th from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. We encourage all parents to join to hear an overview of the season and to have a chance to ask questions.

Practice Meet: June 5th (11+ 8:00-10:00 AM, 10U 10:00-12:00)

We realize this is awkward timing since it’s before practices even start, but it was the only available date given our dual meet schedule. We don’t want to cause any stress to our new parents or swimmers, so this is optional and you are welcome to just come to observe. That said, it will be a fun low key meet that gives a chance for parents to practice their meet jobs as well as the swimmers.

Swimmers can swim all 4 individual events (in dual meets it’s limited to 3), plus the IM which is a bonus exhibition event for the league this year (so won’t score points either). There will also be relays that the coaches put together.

We will send out sign up instructions for the jobs and events when we open the meet.

10U Free Dive Clinic: June 6th (9:00 -11:00 AM)

Our CITs, which are swimmers aged 13 and older, will be hosting a free dive clinic for our 10 and under swimmers. This is as much a way for the younger and older swimmers to get to know each other as it is a learning opportunity. We will run these clinics 4 times over the summer on Sundays. They will be 30 minutes long for each clinic with up to 12 swimmers aged 10 and under. CITs and 10 and under swimmers can sign up for the first clinic here. 

Team Photos: June 12th 8:00 - 12:00 (during first virtual dual meet)

We will be doing individual photos and a composite team photo on June 12th during our meet. The photographer will use a pop-up studio to take photos of all the kids for the composite photo. If you would like individual or sibling photos, you will need to pre-order those for $15 on this website. Your $15 pays for all the different poses and shots they take of your swimmer, plus the full team composite photo, as high-resolution digital files. You can also order prints or use the file to print your own elsewhere.

5 and 10 Year Awards

If your swimmer has been on the team for 5 or 10 years, please complete this survey so they can receive their plaque at our awards ceremony. If they should have received it in 2020, we are happy to catch up this year, so we welcome everyone who has been on for 6 or 11 years too.
