Coach Update 2/8/21

Hello, Winter Conditioning (part 2) Swimmers and Families!

We are so excited to get back onto the pool deck with your swimmers! Read ahead for parent reminders, the practice schedule, a what-to-bring-to-practice guide, and the coach contacts.

Parent Reminders:

Parents, please try to send your swimmers to practice everyday they’re scheduled to be there, and to be there on time. The coaches try their best to create a cohesive workout plan for the season so that the swimmers can get the most out of their swim team experience, and it makes it a lot easier if swimmers consistently show up to practice and show up on time. Please also remember that there is a waitlist for practice spots, so make the most out of your assigned lane! If you can’t come on a specific day or collection of days, please remember to send an email notifying the coaches. Thank you in advance!

Please find the conditioning practice schedule for the second half of our winter season here (effective Monday, February 8th)

What to bring:

Here’s what you’ll need to bring to practice:

  • Mask (make sure to always wear a mask on deck and to remember to walk one-way around the pool!)
  • towel/flip-flops/clothes
  • Goggles
  • Cap (optional, but encouraged)
  • Water Bottle (pre-filled)
  • Kickboard (we can provide kickboards that we sanitize between groups, but it is recommended that you bring your own)
  • Fins (optional, but encouraged)
  • Pull buoy (optional)
